VBeam® Perfecta Pulsed Dye Laser

What to Expect

Treatment
Patients often report a warming or tingling sensation during the treatment, although anesthetics are usually not required.
Post-treatment
Patients often report a sensation similar to a mild sunburn. It is important to avoid sun exposure before and throughout treatment. A broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher should be worn daily during this time.
Excel® V Aesthetic Laser Treatment

What To Expect
The Excel® V delivers high-powered laser energy to coagulate the blood within the vein, resulting in the vessels being reabsorbed by the body. This allows the body to naturally eliminate the unsightly appearance of veins and other blemishes.
Treatment
During the Excel® V treatment, patients may feel a stinging or pinching sensation as the laser delivers micro pulses of energy to the skin. To offset the discomfort, the Excel® V is equipped with a cooling device.
Post-treatment
Following your treatment, you may experience temporary redness, swelling, and bruising. These side effects are normal and should dissipate within 48 hours. Patients typically see a significant improvement in the appearance of their skin within two to six weeks.
