PicoSure targets unwanted ink more effectively than ever before, successfully removing difficult ink colors, such as blue and green, as well as previously treated tattoos.

How Does Laser Tattoo Removal Work?

PicoSure works by using a picosecond (one-trillionth of a second) pulse laser to remove the colors and hues of the tattoo. The high levels of energy and speed are what aid in causing the tattoo pigments to break up into minuscule dust-like particles that are then absorbed by the immune system and eliminated by the body.

A PicoSure treatment typically takes between 10-15 minutes depending on the size and depth of the tattoo. Patients should expect some discomfort during this process but it should only last for approximately two minutes at most.

The entire tattoo removal process takes several sessions with most patients receiving five to seven treatments before desired results are achieved.
