Dr. Vercio is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who manages a variety of medical and surgical eye conditions.

In addition to general eye care, she performs routine and refractive cataract surgeries.

A Southern California native, Dr. Vercio received her B.S. in biology from Point Loma Nazarene University where she graduated with honors. She then earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University, where she was inducted into the AOA medical honors society. She remained at Loma Linda for her internship in internal medicine followed by her residency in ophthalmology where she received awards for patient care, student education and research.

Following the completion of her training, Dr. Vercio worked as a comprehensive ophthalmologist in Sheboygan, WI, where she helped to establish a new eye care presence in the region. She is excited to be returning with her young family to the South Sound region, where her husband is originally from.

Dr. Vercio is passionate about patient care and communication, tailoring her expertise to meet the individualized needs of the patient. Her goal is to provide excellent results, focusing on quality of life and sight for her patients.

When not at work, Dr. Vercio enjoys cooking, gardening, running, chasing around her 2 young sons, and coaxing her husband into various home improvement projects.
