Jennifer (Jenn) Pinson has been a physician assistant since 2007. She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Florida.
Jenn started her PA career in orthopedic surgery. After honing her surgical and clinical skills, she transitioned to dermatology in 2013. She studied under a Mohs surgeon in The Villages, FL, who taught her most of the dermatology skills she knows today, especially skin cancer detection and dermatologic surgical techniques. Her time in Florida helped her gain extensive experience in a wide range of dermatologic conditions, especially those that affect the elderly population. She moved to Seattle in 2017, where she gained more experience treating patients of all ages for a variety of general dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and more. She also has experience in a variety of cosmetic treatments.
Jenn loves getting to know her patients and helping them to understand the dermatologic conditions they are dealing with. She also enjoys educating them about not only their existing conditions but also about the detection and prevention of skin cancer. She wants her patients to feel good about the skin they have and know how to keep it as healthy as possible.
In her free time, Jenn enjoys spending time with her son and her two chihuahuas. She can often be found on the sidelines of a BVBIA soccer game, cheering for her son, who plays goalkeeper. The pair have traveled both nationwide and internationally for his clinics and games. Jenn and her son also enjoy traveling, especially to Disney on both coasts. They love exploring new places and trying new foods together.
