June Kim MD

Dr. Kim is a fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon who is double board-certified in both Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

Her main areas of practice are medical and surgical dermatology with a specialty in Mohs micrographic surgery. As an undergrad at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Dr. Kim began taking classes for her premedical studies and gradually fell in love with the medical field.

Upon graduating from MIT, Dr. Kim went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. This was followed by an internal medicine internship and a dermatology research fellowship at Stanford.  As she began practicing general dermatology, she gradually became fascinated with the surgical aspect of the field. This inspired Dr. Kim to further her education and finish her Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship at Yale.

Following her training at Yale, Dr. Kim joined Cascade Eye & Skin Centers and has been part of the team for over 13 years. Dr. Kim takes huge pride in providing the best care possible for her patients and strives to make each one feel like family.

Dr. Kim feels most fulfilled when she removes a complicated cancer and offers her patients reconstructive surgery that enhances their appearance. In addition to providing optimal care for her patients, Dr. Kim also loves working with the many sub-specialties at our practice. From cosmetic to pediatric dermatology, Dr. Kim enjoys the ability to learn from some of the leading experts in the field.

Outside of work, Dr. Kim loves traveling the world with her husband and three children. Whether it’s taking a Disney cruise to the beaches of St. Thomas or visiting Petra in Jordan, she believes there is so much to learn about the world and enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Dr. Kim knows that her patients are one of the most important parts of what she does each day and is excited to continue growing with Cascade Eye & Skin Centers.
