Larinda is a physician assistant specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatological services. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center before earning her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies through the military’s Interservice Physician Assistant Program.

She recently retired from the US Army Reserves, where she proudly served as an aeromedical PA.  In her 21 years of service, her favorite mission was flying with the chinook crew on search & rescue operations on Mount Rainier.

Her memberships include the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Society of Army Physician Assistants, and the Washington Academy of Physician Assistants.

When it comes to her treatment philosophy, Larinda values getting to know her patients and forming long-term relationships. She wants her patients to feel as though she fully understands them and their condition. Since joining the team at Cascade in 2016, her patients have come to mean a great deal to her. She welcomes the challenges of solving and treating the skin conditions of each new person she encounters.

Although not a native to the PNW, she loves the outdoor adventures the region has to offer!   You can find her skiing, hiking, and RV’ing with her family. She enjoys all things music, from learning & playing instruments, to attending concerts and jamming with fellow enthusiasts.  She enjoys the benefits of living an active lifestyle, and strives to teach her three children the importance of health & activity balanced with fun and relaxation.
