Dr. Mackenzie Schwartz was raised in a military family. She was born in North Carolina and also lived in Texas, Alabama, Missouri, and Kansas. At a young age, Dr. Schwartz knew she wanted to pursue a career in optometry.
She completed her undergraduate education at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC, where she earned a BS in Biology.
Dr. Schwartz attended optometry school in Forest Grove, OR, at Pacific University College of Optometry, graduating in 2022. She has a great interest in comprehensive eye care and the treatment and management of ocular surface instability.
Dr. Schwartz and her husband reside in Puyallup, WA. She is excited to begin her career in the Pacific Northwest. When Dr. Schwartz is away from work, she enjoys exploring, hiking, skiing, playing board games and spending time with her family. She is excited to be part of the community and provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages.
